Ticket Lottery Process

One of the biggest perks of LFC Boston Membership is the ability to participate in a lottery for tickets to watch Liverpool FC play home matches at Anfield. Here are the basics of that process:

  • Step 1: Members vote for which matches LFC Boston will request tickets

  • Step 2: Based on that vote, LFC Boston requests tickets and Liverpool FC makes ticket allocation

  • Step 3: Ticket lottery opens, Members submit applications, and deposits are collected

  • Step 4: Tickets are awarded via random draw, and deposits are refunded to those who did not win tickets

  • Step 5: Seat information is provided and tickets are delivered

Our goal is to make sure as many of our Members can attend matches at Anfield as possible. Below are the full details of how our process works — please read carefully:

Eligibility

  • The ticket lottery is only open to current LFC Boston members. Your membership grants you access to the second half lottery of the current season and the first half lottery of the next season. So if you have a 2026/27 Membership, you can participate in the second half lottery of the 2026/27 season and the first half lottery of the 2027/28 season.

  • LFC Boston Memberships can be purchased online or on match days at The Phoenix Landing. Click here for information about Membership benefits.

  • In addition to an LFC Boston Membership, you must also have a current Liverpool FC All Red membership that grants access to ticket sales: either a Full, Light, or Junior account is required. Please note that Video and Essential accounts will not grant you access to tickets.

  • Liverpool FC All Red Memberships can be purchased on the club’s website. Click here to learn more about the different All Red membership levels.

  • You must be a resident of MA, NH, VT, RI, or ME to participate in the LFC Boston ticket lotteries.

Key Steps

Step 1: Members vote for matches

Shortly before each half of the Premier League season (usually July and November), LFC Boston Members vote on the matches for which we submit ticket allocation requests to Liverpool FC. Note that Liverpool FC policy states that requests for matches for which an OLSC has received tickets in the previous two years will not be filled, so those matches are removed from any polls/votes. For example, we received tickets to the fall 2026 Arsenal match, so we won’t be able to request Arsenal tickets until the 2028/29 season.

Step 2: LFC Boston requests tickets and Liverpool FC makes ticket allocation

Once the Member vote has concluded, LFC Boston makes a ticket allocation request to Liverpool FC. We can request up to 12 tickets per match for up to 6 games a season — three during the first half of the season, and three during the second half. All tickets/matches are subject to availability, so there is no guarantee that our requests will be filled.

Liverpool FC notifies LFC Boston once ticket allocations are completed, telling us which matches we received tickets for, and how many are available to us for each match.

Step 3: Ticket lottery opens, Members submit applications, and deposits are collected

LFC Boston opens a ticket lottery for those matches. We send out a link to a form with details of the matches for which we’ve received tickets, and Members can apply for tickets to any or all of those matches.

Members may submit an individual application OR be part of a group application, but not both: e.g., you can't be part of a group application and submit an individual application; or be a part of multiple group applications. If a member appears in multiple applications, ALL of those applications will be voided. A maximum of four members can be included in a group application.

A deposit for each requested ticket is collected as part of the lottery application. This will prevent LFC Boston from undue financial burden from unpaid tickets. FYI each match ticket varies in price, but you can expect to pay somewhere around $50-$60 per ticket.

Step 4: Tickets are awarded via random draw, and deposits are refunded

Once the lottery window has closed, LFC Boston awards tickets to individuals and groups via randomized draw. Winners are notified and any remaining amount (minus the deposit) is collected via PayPal or Venmo. At that time, winners should also begin booking airfare and accommodations.

Individuals and groups that did not win tickets will have their deposits immediately refunded in full.

Step 5: Seat information is provided and tickets are delivered

About two weeks prior to the match, Liverpool FC will notify us of seat locations and we will pass on the information to you. One week prior to the match we will be able to distribute your match ticket electronically via the official Liverpool FC app.

Rules & Policies

  • Ticket Deposit: A $50 deposit is required for each ticket a member or group applies for. In the event a member does not win a ticket(s) in the lottery, this deposit will be refunded.

  • Ticket Forfeiture: Forfeiting or failing to use allocated tickets negatively affects LFC Boston’s likelihood of winning tickets in the future. For this reason, if a member forfeits or does not use a ticket, they can be barred from winning tickets in future lotteries.

  • Ticket Usage and Transfer: Tickets must be used by the member they are allocated to. Selling or transferring a ticket can result in a member being barred from future lotteries.

  • Emergencies: If a situation arises where a member can not use a ticket they’ve been allocated, they should contact LFC Boston as soon as possible. The club understands life happens, so LFC Boston will work to navigate any emergency that arises.

  • Age Restrictions: Members under the age of 18 can not apply for individual tickets. They must be included in a group with at least one other person who is 18 or older.

  • Matchday Conduct: All LFC Boston members must follow the club’s code of conduct on matchday. Any violation of this code could result in a member being permanently barred from LFC Boston.

  • Transportation & Travel: Tickets do not include transportation or travel. Flight and lodgings need to be coordinated by the member(s) who won tickets.

Please note that all Liverpool FC match dates and kickoff times at Anfield are subject to change: please refer to the Liverpool FC Men’s Team Match Schedule and LFC social media pages for the most up to date information.
